NEWS FLASH!!! Lock bumping hits America! Click here to learn more!
We unlock foreign and domestic automobiles, originate lost or stolen keys, replace damaged ignitions, rekey vehicles and extract broken keys from ignitions and other locks.
Key Originations (lost the keys to your car)
If you lost the keys to your vehicle chances are we can help, we can originate lost keys for most vehicles. All you need is a driver's liscense, registration and some cash!
Damage-Free Car/Automobile openings/unlocks
We are not perfect but we are trained and we have experience on unlocking your car. If we do break something guess who's buying? That's right we are, all of our car openings are guaranteed damage free!
If a police officer or firefighter offers to open the car for you please ask them if they intend to pay for any damages that may occur. It may be a free opening but it may cost much more than the $55-$85 it costs to have a locksmith come out and open it for you and not to mention your time getting it fixed
Be careful if someone offers to help you get your keys out of your car while at a grocery store or shopping mall etc.. While most people have good intentions they do not have experience and can often cause $100's in damage to your windows, weather stripping, wiring etc. We have arrived on the scene of a lockout many times where the customer has let someone try to help them open their car and the doors are scratched, the door handle linkage is disconnected, the power window and power door wire's are severed. Once a goodwill person even managed to break the front windshield of a ladies pickup truck. "Slim Jims" are famous for causing damage if used incorrectly.
Vehicle Rekey Service
If you have lost your keys to your vehicle you need to think about wether or not they were stolen or if they were lost. If someone stole your keys and you think they were lost then you could be the victim of a theft later on. We can rekey your vehicle so the old keys will not work, sure it is expensive but not as expensive as your car and what is inside of it.
Automotive Locksmith Tips:
- Do not attempt to put super glue on the end of a broken key in an attempt to remove a broken key from the ignition or any other locks. We have never heard of this been an effective way of working. If you get super glue in the lock it will not work anymore and the ignition will need to be replaced.
- Don't use the tip of your key as a screwdriver, it will break and then it will not work your ignition and/or doors.
- WD-40 - Do not use WD-40 on your locks as a lubricant, WD-40 is a light lubricant and not recommended for use in locks. WD-40 stands for Water Displacement & 40 stands for the amount of times it took them to get the right formula. So what do I use? Lubricate your automobile door/trunk locks with a lubricant such as Tri-Flo at least once a year. This will keep them working smoothly and help prevent corrosion.
- Hide-a-key boxes are more often than not remembered for not being there when you need them, however, if placed in the correct spot underneath your vehicle they will stay there. We recommend that instead of these hide a key boxes that you use some good ole' duct tape to secure your key where you want it. Just wrap a spare key in some paper or plastic wrap and then wrap your key around something on the underside of your car with duct tape. The paper or plastic wrap will keep the adhesive off of the key and from gumming up your locks when you do use it. After you tape the key underneath the vehicle, then drive through a mud puddle to camouflage it so a small person looking for hide-a-key boxes in a mall parking lot won't easily find it and if they do it will be allot harder to get it off.
- Keep all of your valuables out of plain view "outa sight, outa mind" If they don't see it they won't want it. The best place to keep your belongings and valuables is in your trunk. Some cars also have the capability to disable your mechanical trunk release with a 90 degree turn of your key or a button in the interior of the vehicle. That way if they break into your car and pull the trunk release it will not open, only the correct key will and not the valet key.
